I’d like to tell you a story about a friend of mine named Joe whose life was nearly wrecked by an event that happened when he was four years old & what he did to solve the problem.
The issue that had developed over a period was a learning difficulty. Joe hated learning new things & had done very poorly at school. He wasn’t interested in school work work, he never read any books & he had to cheat on tests so he could pass his grades.
He dropped out of school early, got himself a go nowhere job, but even there he hated learning anything new.
One day he woke up & realized he had a difficulty & had better do something about it so he went & saw a specialist who deals in mental health disorders who was able to identify an event that happened when he was just 4 years of age.
There was a playground behind the house of 4 year old Joe & a hole in the back fence. He& a pal crept through the hole to play in the playground without telling his mum and dad. Presently he slid off the play equipment, broke his arm & started hollering.
A disturbed mother came running & took him off to a close-by hospital which was real busy that day; there weren’t any spare rooms or beds so they put him in a cot in the busy hall way.

Then he decided to go to university & ended up passing his degree by getting the fifth highest mark in the entire university that year.
